- Viscosity can be controlled by very simple operation !
- Just actually measure viscosity by Zahn cup that you use, and set the same value on controller. This easy calibration makes perfect viscosity management by the same numbers of second that you count.
- Very high accuracy viscosity control by number of seconds! (+/-0.1 sec)
- Viscosity is measured by a dropping body dropping speed with very few disturbance from outside, and number of seconds can be controlled with very high accuracy.
Sampling ink for measurement is by-passed from supply line to ink pan, and viscosity of ink in ink pan is directly controlled.
- Temperature compensation
- When temperature goes up, ink viscosity goes down. This compensation function cancels viscosity deviation due to temperature increase, and keeps viscosity constant.
- Installation at desired locations!
- Operation and control unit is very compact thanks to digital control system. Control unit can be built in press operation panel. Measurement unit can be attached to machine frame as it is approved by German PTB, as intrinsically safe construction.

- Viscosity controller can control 5~1,100mPas only by exchanging dropping weight of different thickness inside measurement unit glass tube.

High Accuracy Viscosity Control
Methods like as diaphragm pump pulsation detection and vibration method are affected by disturbance from outside.
Not being affected by disturbance, our viscosity controller have distinguished viscosity measurement accuracy.
Fall time of dropping weight inside piping is measured by upper and lower proximity sensors.
Fall time is converted to viscosity and displayed, and viscosity is controlled based on the measurement value. |
